About

Ed Reynolds  is a Belfast based artist and member of the Vault Studios collective. Born in Dublin in 1970, he grew up  in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, before  studying classical animation in Ballyfermot S.C. Dublin  in the early 90’s. 

He came to Northern Ireland in 2005 and worked as a commissioned community artist ,re imaging and replacing old paramilitary murals with  inspiring artworks of a different theme.

Ed works independently as a commissioned painter, who’s interests are in making the ordinary, a little more ‘extraordinary’. His recent series of ‘Listen and See’ exhibitions are a celebration of everyday life in the community, most notably its streets, coffee shops, shorelines  and landscapes.

Ed is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work that offers a nostalgic and impressionistic journey through the changing landscapes of his surroundings, blending past and present in a series of evocative paintings.
